Review of the beautiful strategy game Rise of Kingdom

Review of Rise of Kingdoms

Lilith Games’ Rise of Kingdoms is not just a game, but a colossal undertaking involving more people than any other nation. It is a multiplayer strategy game with millions of players. Each of these players create their own city, explore the world around them, mine and capture the resources they need, wage war and do a host of other interesting things. The game locations are located on servers, each of which can play about a thousand users. Therefore, each player will not see all the inhabitants of the game universe, but those people with whom he will meet within the limits of the server is enough for friendship, enmity and a lot of interesting things.

Where to start

A new player starts by choosing a nation. This determines a lot: what kind of troops he belongs to, who will be his starting commander, what passive bonus he will get at the beginning of the gameplay. If a person entered the game out of curiosity and is not a gamer ready to spend hours and days on his hobbies, he can choose any nation. Players with a more serious motivation are advised to study the guides, of which there are many on the Internet, and think carefully before starting the game.

After a short tutorial, the player gets to create his own city. There he builds buildings, creates infrastructure and an army. The next stage is exploration of the surrounding world.

What is good about Rise of Kingdom

A feature of the game that users like a lot – access to the main game content already at the stage of entering the process. There is no need to pass through level after level to discover new options.

Main game locations: city created by gamer, surrounding territories, surrounding world, game location as a whole. To view the action and control locations, zoom in and out on BlueStacks, use the up and down arrows on your keyboard. On mobile devices you have to “stretch” or “pinch” the screen with your fingers.

Within the city, the player develops its infrastructure, builds trade relations and solves other internal issues. Outside the city, troops can be sent on reconnaissance missions to dispel the “fog of war” and expand the visible limits of the territory. You will also need to gather resources, fight barbarians and find allies.

About Rise of Kingdom

The in-game location as a whole is the continent of Egeria, which is divided into several territories: Pontia, the Kingdom of Tamu, the Kingdom of Sefer and others.

Another feature of Rise of Kingdoms is that as the game progresses, cities move from one era to the next, and changing eras allows for more and more advanced technology, which opens up new possibilities.

There is no script for the game as such. No one tells the player that they have to complete any mission or somehow fit into any particular storyline. But every player intuitively understands that their task is to create a powerful city and become one of the most powerful rulers.

Game mechanics

The mechanics of battles in this game are simple, but at the same time very well designed. All battles take place in real time on the main game map. Battles are fought by the player who best prepares his troops. Specifically, it is necessary to form an army so as to ensure optimum interaction between the various units, as well as quantitative and qualitative superiority over the enemy.

At the start of the game the gamer gets an active peace shield, which is needed to defend the city. The shield can also be used to protect looted resources. The challenge for the player is to use this shield in such a way as to prevent the city from being overrun and the resources plundered.

Rise of Kingdoms, though challenging as it may seem, is not difficult at all and may well be an excellent way to spend an entertaining leisure time.
